Duties Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready for procedures. Assist dentists chairside during a variety of treatments including general dentistry, extractions, implants and a good understanding of dentures.​ Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced equipment such as 3D scanners and medical imaging devices while maintaining strict infection control protocols. Manage patient records accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Curve and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Perform vital signs assessments and monitor patient comfort throughout procedures, providing excellent chairside assistance with aseptic techniques. Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, greeting patients as a dental receptionist, and managing medical documentation and coding. Support infection control practices by adhering to strict sterilization standards and maintaining a clean, safe clinical environment. Qualifications Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology. Familiarity with infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures. Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while following safety guidelines for radiation exposure. Strong understanding of​ general restoration and Implants. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members including dental receptionists and other healthcare professionals.
