Responsibilities Assist orthodontist during patient examinations, procedures, and adjustments with precision and professionalism Prepare treatment area by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly Take X-rays, including Itero scans, while adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards Provide chairside assistance with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort Educate patients on orthodontic care, appliance maintenance, and post-treatment instructions using clear dental terminology Requirements Proven experience as an Orthodontic Assistant or Dental Assistant with a strong background in orthodontics preferred Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security Familiarity with dental imaging techniques including X-ray procedures and Itero scanning technology Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques Experience working with pediatric and adult patients Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour Work Location: In person
