Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our private dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding of oral health practices. This role requires a strong foundation in dental terminology, patient assessment, and infection control protocols to maintain the highest standards of hygiene and safety. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients. Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Implement infection control measures in accordance with established protocols. Conduct patient assessments to identify any oral health issues or concerns. Apply aseptic techniques during all procedures to ensure patient safety. Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care in general dentistry. Requirements Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice. Proficiency in dental assisting practices, including four-handed dentistry. Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures. Experience with Dentrix software is preferred. Strong skills in patient assessment and documentation review. Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
