Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Orlando, FL
Part-Time / Full-Time Opportunity Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, with opportunity to grow up to 40 hours per week Equinox Dental is looking for a skilled, friendly, and dependable Dental Hygienist to join our growing practice. We are seeking someone who is confident clinically, provides excellent patient care, and enjoys being part of a positive, team-oriented office. This position is ideal for a hygienist looking for a consistent MWF schedule with the potential to increase to full-time hours up to 40 per week as the practice continues to grow. Responsibilities: Perform dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance Take digital radiographs Complete thorough periodontal charting and documentation Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care Identify treatment needs and communicate findings clearly to doctor and patient Maintain accurate and timely clinical notes Follow infection control and sterilization protocols Help create a welcoming, comfortable experience for every patient Qualifications: Active Florida Dental Hygienist license Local anesthesia certification preferred, if applicable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Team player with a positive attitude Reliable, professional, and patient-focused Experience with digital charts/x-rays preferred- OpenDental What Weâre Looking For: Someone who is kind, efficient, and confident Bilingual Preferred not required A hygienist who values quality care and patient relationships A professional who is comfortable working in a growing office environment Someone who wants a stable schedule with room for more hours over time Pay: $40.00 per hour Work Location: In person
