Responsibilities Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations, medical history reviews, and oral health evaluations using advanced medical imaging techniques. Provide a wide range of dental services such as dental restorations, root canal therapy, extractionsâincluding dental extractionsâand prosthodontics to restore function and aesthetics. Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures. Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control standards. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care to promote lifelong oral health. Collaborate with the dental team to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patientâs needs, including pediatric patients requiring specialized pediatric dentistry services. Ensure aseptic techniques are followed rigorously to uphold the highest standards of infection control and patient safety. Qualifications Valid state license to practice dentistry with current credentials in good standing. Proven experience in general dentistry with additional expertise in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontics preferred. Proficiency in dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and medical records management. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical imaging technologies. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate treatment plans clearly. Demonstrated commitment to infection control protocols and HIPAA compliance. Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
