Position Overview This role is ideal for a personable, motivated dental assistant who is comfortable in a fast-paced surgical environment and enjoys being part of a team. Youâll work closely with the periodontist to provide excellent patient care, assist with surgical procedures, and help create a smooth, comfortable experience for every patient. Responsibilities Chairside assisting during periodontal exams and procedures Assisting with implant placements, grafting, and other surgical procedures Taking digital X-rays and intraoral photos Preparing operatories and surgical trays Maintaining sterilization and infection control protocols Educating patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene Recording clinical notes and updating charting Helping maintain a positive, efficient clinical flow Supporting team members as needed Qualifications Dental assisting experience (periodontal or surgical experience preferred) Friendly, upbeat personality with strong patient communication skills Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Comfortable in a fast-paced clinical environment Knowledge of Curve is a plus Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Paid time off and holidays Continuing education opportunities Supportive, respectful team culture Growing practice with opportunity to learn advanced procedures Schedule MondayâThursday | 7:30 AM â 4:00 PM No weekends PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE OFFICE REGARDING THIS POSITION Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 â 36.0 per week Benefits: Employee discount Paid time off Retirement plan Work Location: In person
