Experienced Dental Assistant with Surgical Expertise - Termotto & Davis Dental Practice, LLC - Pooler, GA

Davis and Wine Dental Practice, LLC is a privately owned specialty practice with 3 Prosthodontists and 1 Periodontist. Currently we have three different locations, one in Pooler, and 2 in the Bluffton area. This position requires the right candidate to be able to work in our Pooler office and in our Okatie, SC office. We are looking for a full time (32-36 hours per week) experienced expanded duty dental assistant with surgical experience to join our team. If you have experience working with a Prosthodontist and a Periodontist and have Dentrix knowledge you are welcome to apply. Scope of duties include, chairside assisting, sterilization, impression, fabrications of temps, digital X-rays. Surgical/implant background a plus. Position Responsibilities ·Prepares and disinfects treatment room for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols ·Prepares patients for treatment ·Reviews patient health history prior to any and all treatment and relays any changes to the dentist ·Must be able to chart, treatment plan, help with clinical notes, and schedule appointments in Dentrix. ·Experience is required ·Applicants that do well with change, and have great communication skills are encouraged to apply Qualifications - Proficiency in Dentrix software - Strong background in dental assisting - Excellent communication skills/Must be able to speak English - Familiarity with surgical implant placement - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations - Understanding of dental terminology and procedures - X-ray certification · Our approximate office hours are Monday thru Friday 7:30-4:00.
