Join our team and help provide the best pediatric and orthodontic dental experiences for the greater San Diego area! *Be Friendly, Be Helpful, Be Better!* Our work environment includes: Modern office setting Growth opportunities Lively atmosphere Company perks Safe work environment Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures using 4-hand dentistry - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Take and develop dental x-rays - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Perform dental charting and documentation using electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Open Dental and Dolphin - Assist with patient scheduling and appointment coordination - Conduct patient assessments and record vital signs Experience: - extensive orthodontic experience required, OA license required - lead orthodontic assistant experience preferred - Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Education Infection Control Coronal Polish Pit and Fissure Basic Life Support Radiograph MUST have pit and fissure license! RDA license not required but preferred. Compensation is based of years of experience, certifications and licenses.
