Dental Treatment Coordinator - Watauga Dental Center - Watauga, TX

Watauga Dental Center is a well-established office in the DFW area and are looking for a professional colleague to join our team as a Treatment/Hygiene Coordinator! The ideal candidate would have 3+ years of experience, but we are willing to train on the job - for the right candidate that is willing to learn from our office manager! PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a position for an office manager. We already have a great office manager who you will be working under. We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Dentist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing primary care, performing surgery, administering anesthesiology, and performing other related duties. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a passion for patient care, and a commitment to providing the highest quality of dental care. Responsibilities: Able to explain comprehensive oral health care treatment plans to patients. Able to manage 2 hygienists’ weekly schedule. Able to explain to patients the different dental procedures such as extractions, fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, and implants. Able to work off of unscheduled treatment plan list and making calls to get patients scheduled for appointments. High case acceptance for treatment plans (ideally 90%+). Able to work the continuing care list and scheduling hygiene appointments. Corresponding with patients regarding updating their paperwork and sending digital links the morning of their appointment. Confirming appointments 48 hours beforehand with 95%+ confirmed by the morning they’re scheduled. Maintain text messages that come through from patients. Answering phone calls in a professional, bubbly and polite manner, dealing with multiple lines. Help checking in/checking out patients. Able to read and understand patient balances. Corresponding with specialist offices via email/phone.
