Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Chandler, AZ
Tooth Kids LLC is looking for an enthusiastic and caring Certified Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work with children and help them maintain good oral health. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $15 to $25 per hour, depending on experience and certifications. **Job Overview:** As a Certified Pediatric Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our Board Certified Pediatric dentists to provide top-quality dental care to children. Your main duties will include assisting with dental procedures, sterilizing equipment, taking X-rays, and educating patients and parents on proper oral hygiene. Hours : Monday -Thursday 8am-5:00pm & Fridays 8:30am - 2:00pm **Responsibilities:** Assist the dentist during procedures (chairside assisting) Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment Take and develop dental X-rays Prepare patients for treatments and procedures Maintain accurate patient records Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care Manage inventory and order supplies Ensure compliance with infection control protocols Complete clinical notes with accuracy after reach patient HIPAA & OSHA compliant **Requirements:** - Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification - Experience working with children preferred - Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures preferred - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work well in a team - Dentrix experience is a plus - X-ray certification preferred - Coronal Polishing certificate preferred - CPR/BLS Certified preferred Tooth Kids LLC is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusivity.
