Experienced Dental Assistant needed in downtown Phoenix, AZ!

We are looking for a full-time Dental Assistant to join our team in downtown Phoenix area! We’re committed to providing modern, conservative care to all our patients, while making them feel like they’re right at home. Our team makes our patients feel confident in their smiles while creating lasting, meaningful relationships along the way. 

Schedule:

Mon - Tues 7am- 5pm

Wed - Thurs 7am-3pm

Compensation: $22-$28/hour

Job responsibilities/duties:

• Ensure patients comfort during procedures

• Preparing operatories for treatment

• Sterilizing instruments

• Directly assist dentist during procedures using four handed dentistry technique

• Take x-rays and intraoral photos

• Accurately and efficiently treatment plan based on doctor’s diagnosis

• Providing patient education and post-operative instruction

• Dental charting and coding

• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols

• Perform lab duties such as pouring models, taking impressions, and fabricating temporary crowns

• Stock supplies and maintain equipment

• Accurately document and maintain Patient Health Information

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of DA experience

• Cerec knowledge is a plus
• Clear Aligners knowlege is a plus

• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program

• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments

• Proficiency in dental patient management software such as Dentrix Ascend

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Self-starter with a strong work ethic
