Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Great Falls, MT
Job Summary: Rivers Edge Dental is a fun and fast-paced dental office located in Great Falls, MT. We are a well-established practice with a fantastic team dedicated to providing high-quality dental care in a welcoming and friendly environment. We are seeking a self-motivated individual with a good work ethic and a positive attitude to join our team as a Dental Assistant. Duties: -Assisting the dentist during various dental procedures. -Preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment. -Ensuring patient comfort before, during, and after dental treatments. -Taking and developing dental radiographs. -Recording patient medical histories and maintaining accurate dental records. -Educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices and postoperative care. -Managing inventory of dental supplies and ordering as needed. -Assisting with front office tasks, such as scheduling appointments and handling patient inquiries, when necessary. -Adhering to all infection control protocols and safety procedures. Qualifications: -High school deploma or equivalent. - Certification assistinga from an accredited dental assisting program is preferred but not necessary. - Radiology certification preferred. - Prior experience in a dental office setting is preferred but not required. Skills: - Proficient in dental assisting techniques - Experience with dental software systems like Dentrix - Knowledge of dental coding for billing purposes - Understanding of HIPAA regulations for patient privacy - Skilled in Four Handed Dentistry to assist efficiently during procedures - Strong anatomy knowledge to support dental procedures - Ability to maintain accurate medical documentation If you are a dedicated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for patient care, we would love to hear from you.
