Job Overview We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our office. This position requires a some basic understanding of dental terminology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Perform chairside assisting duties, including suctioning, instrument passing, and patient positioning. Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to safety protocols and regulations. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records for each patient visit, ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards. Utilize EMR systems such as Dentrix. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment. Skills Basic knowledge of a dental office or medical office. Ability to interact well with patients. Hard work ethic. Good attitude. Learning quickly and being flexible.
