Our goal is to provide a professional, patient centered office. Looking for a candidate that will join our small close-knit team to provide a caring and nurturing environment for our patients. A small, established Endodontic (Root Canal and Root End surgery) office has an opening for a Dental Assistant. We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic person to join our team to perform many tasks, ranging from patient care, infection control, taking x rays (If certified) to record-keeping and assisting in scheduling appointments. Responsibilities: Assist with oral examinations Manage infection and hazard control protocol Prepare tray set-ups for oral procedures Prepare patients and operatories for dental procedures Expose digital radiographs (If certified) Help dentist by transferring instruments during procedures Provide post-operative instructions as prescribed by the dentist Maintain accurate patient treatment records Set up and maintain dental laboratory equipment and instruments. Manage Dental Supply Stockroom: inventory, restock. Other duties as needed Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Dental Assisting Certificate (Preferred) Work Location: In person
