Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in San Carlos, CA

Job Title: Dental Front Office Coordinator (4 Days/Week) We are seeking an experienced, friendly, and detail-oriented Dental Front Office Coordinator to join our team! This is a key role in our practice, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys providing excellent patient care and service. Schedule: Monday â Thursday (4 days per week) Occasional Fridays as needed One Saturday per month Key Responsibilities: Warmly greet and check in patients Schedule and confirm appointments Answer and manage incoming phone calls, emails, and patient texts Post patient treatment and prepare accurate treatment estimates Clearly explain insurance benefits and financial responsibilities to patients Collect and post patient payments Perform insurance follow-up on overdue claims Manage accounts receivable Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of dental front office experience Strong knowledge of dental insurance and ability to provide accurate estimates Excellent communication skills , both verbal and written Ability to explain insurance benefits clearly and confidently to patients Experience with Dentrix Ascend or Dentrix preferred Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude Highly organized with strong attention to detail Bonus Skills: Dental assisting experience is a plus Willingness to occasionally assist in the back office (room setup/breakdown) Ability to help seat patients as needed Spanish-speaking ability is a plus (not required) What Weâre Looking For: Someone who is dependable, personable, and a true team playerâsomeone with strong communication skills who can help create a welcoming environment for our patients while keeping the front office running smoothly.
