Who We're Looking For We are seeking a highly motivated Dental Assistant who shares our commitment to quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail Be a team player and have a team-oriented mindset Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to work efficiently Experience with CEREC crown procedures (preferred, but not required) Familiarity with Eaglesoft or other similar electronic medical records software Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to patients. Support team members and collaborate effectively to deliver seamless patient experiences. Sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments, materials, and supplies prior to patient appointments. Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed by practicing proper sterilization procedures and maintaining a clean clinical environment. Operate dental equipment including X-ray machines, intraoral cameras, and 3D scanners. Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of general dentistry procedures. Design, mill and polish crowns for CEREC crown procedures. Occasionally assist the hygienist for an assisted hygiene workflow. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and pre/post-treatment care. Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation. Support front desk responsibilities by functioning as a receptionist when neededâscheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and managing patient flow efficiently. Qualifications Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant with current licensure in the state of CA. Proven experience in dental assisting. Familiarity with general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery is highly desirable. Proficiency in dental software systems such as Eaglesoft for managing dental records and documentation. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control standards, and aseptic techniques. Ability to operate X-ray equipment safely and accurately.
