Job Overview We are seeking 2 dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistants to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. This position requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of dental terminology, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and sterile environment. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols. Perform tasks such as taking dental radiographs (X-rays) and utilizing medical imaging techniques. Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records, adhering to HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions. Utilize dental software, including Eaglesoft, for scheduling appointments and managing patient information. Support pediatric patients by creating a friendly and reassuring environment during their visits. Operate 3D scanners for imaging as required for specific treatments. Qualifications Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Knowledge of medical terminology, dental terminology, and infection control practices is essential. Familiarity with medical-dental documentation processes is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Certification in CPR or First Aid is a plus. A willingness to learn new technologies and techniques in the dental field.
