Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Los Angeles, CA
We are looking for a dedicated, kind, professional bilingual English/Spanish Dental Assistant to join our team.
Your responsibilities at chairside and clinical support:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedure ( four-handed dentistry )
- Take high-quality digital dental radiographs
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to OSHA and CDC guidelines
- Educated patients on oral health and post-operative care instruction
- Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment
- Maintain accurate patients records and assist with front-office bilingual support as needed
- Answer basic treatment-related questions
- Assist with scheduling and patient flow
- Handle lab cases ( sending/receiving dental work )
- Pour models
Scope of practice for an RDA is regulated by the Dental Board of California and duties can vary depending on certification
