Position Overview The Dental Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the clinical team and ensuring a smooth, efficient workflow within the operatory. This position requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a professional, patient-focused approach. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and compassionate, with the ability to perform in a high-volume surgical environment while contributing to a positive team culture. Key Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and assist dentists during a variety of procedures, including dental implant and surgical cases Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures Take high-quality dental radiographs (x-rays), intraoral photos, and digital scans (as applicable) Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories in accordance with OSHA and infection control standards Maintain accurate patient records and charting within the practice management system Provide patients with clear post-operative care instructions and oral hygiene guidance Perform lab-related tasks as needed (e.g., pouring impressions, case coordination) Follow all clinical protocols, safety regulations, and HIPAA compliance requirements Qualifications Current Dental Assistant certification in the state of California X-ray certification required Minimum 1â2 years of chairside dental assisting experience preferred ; implant or surgical experience is a plus Current CPR/BLS certification Familiarity with dental software (e.g., CareStack, Dentrix, Eaglesoft) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Professional, team-oriented attitude with strong attention to detail Why Join Fusion Dental Implant Centers?
