Job Summary: We need an EFDA Certified Dental Assistant who’s confident, detail-oriented, and ready to jump in and make a real impact. This position requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform expanded functions as permitted by EFDA certification (e.g., recalls, sealants and silver diamine fluoride treatments) Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures, including emergency visits Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms Take dental radiographs (X-rays) Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards Keep rooms prepped, stocked, and running smoothly Support front office tasks as needed Jump in where needed—we’re a team, after all!
