Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is ready for procedures. Assist dentists during a variety of treatments including general dentistry, endodontics, and oral surgery. Take and develop dental X-rays while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols. Provide chairside assistance by handing instruments, managing suction devices, and supporting patient comfort throughout procedures. Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions to promote ongoing dental wellness. Requirements Proven experience working in a dental environment with knowledge of dental terminology Strong understanding of infection control practices including aseptic technique and sterilization procedures. Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately while maintaining patient safety Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and team members including dental receptionists.
