Certified Dental Assistant for Kids : Smiley Kids Dental Location: Phoenix , AZ Position: Part-Time Are you an experienced dental assistant with a big heart and a great sense of humor? Do you love working with kids and want to make their dental visits fun and memorable? If so, we want YOU to join our awesome team! We are looking for a Certified Dental Assistant who is energetic, compassionate, and passionate about working with children. Your main role will be to provide exceptional dental care and make sure our young patients feel relaxed and excited (yes, we said excited!) about their visits to the dentist. What we’re looking for: Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) with experience in pediatric dentistry and assisting in General Anesthesia . A natural at working with kids – You’re patient, friendly, and know how to make even the most nervous little ones feel at ease A team player – You love collaborating with others and creating a positive atmosphere in the office Great sense of humor – You know how to lighten the mood, make kids laugh, and even make their parents smile Strong communication skills – You can explain procedures in a way that both kids and parents understand and feel comfortable Organized and detail-oriented – You can juggle tasks while keeping everything running smoothly Bilingual (Spanish and English ) a plus. Bonus : Experience with Denticon, also You’re great at remembering silly jokes and can pull off a fantastic “tooth fairy” impression! Your responsibilities will include: Assisting the dentist during exams and procedures (including general anesthesia) taking Xrays, polishing Preparing kids for treatments and making them feel comfortable Educating kids and parents about oral hygiene and preventive care Sterilizing and organizing dental instruments and equipment Keeping the treatment room tidy and ready to go Managing patient records and assisting with scheduling appointments Why work with us?
