Dental Assistant/Sterilization Tech - Sachdev Family Orthodontics - Garnerville, NY

EXPERIENCE: - NO PREVIOUS DENTAL EXPERIENCE NEEDED. We offer hands-on training at the workplace. Candidate will start as a Records/Sterilization Technician. Any interested candidates who are willing to study further will progress to being orthodontic dental assistants. - Those with previous dental or orthodontic experience are encouraged to apply as well. - MUST be a high school graduate - This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to enter the dental field- you will be taught hands on - on the job! RESPONSIBILITIES: - Perform intraoral scans - Assist the orthodontist in providing patient care and treatment during orthodontic procedures - Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment for procedures - Take dental x-rays as directed by the orthodontist - Assist with patient assessment and treatment planning - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and care instructions If you care about providing great patient care, pay attention to details, and enjoy working with others, we'd love for you to apply!
