Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Utica, NY
Mosaic Health Utica is seeking a Dental Assistant to provide quality dental care services for a diverse patient population. Duties to include, but not limited to: conducting pre visit planning, providing compassionate patient comfort from greeting to exit, preparing patients for dental examination, explaining proposed treatment, performing chair side or float duties as assigned, and sterilizing/disinfecting of patient rooms. Applicants strongly preferred with a current New York State License to practice as a Certified Dental Assistant and prior experience as a chair side or float Dental Assistant. Education/Experience: · Current License to practice as a Certified Dental Assistant in New York State strongly preferred · Minimum 1-2 yearsâ prior experience working as a chair side or float Dental Assistant required · Completion of a dental assisting program with experience in four handed dentistry · High School Diploma or GED equivalent Healthcare professionals at Mosaic Health have been providing primary care medical and dental services to our community since 2010. Our Dental Services reside in 5,912 square-foot facility located on Parkside Court in Utica. The center features eight treatment rooms, including a Nitrous Oxide room, digital radiographs, and paperless charting. We offer a competitive salary and generous paid time off.
