The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Dental Assistant, you will support the dentist during various treatments and procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials for patient treatment. Perform medical documentation accurately, including patient records and treatment plans. Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Utilize Dentrix software for scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and billing processes. Conduct basic laboratory tasks such as impressions and the use of 3D scanners for imaging. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions. Ensure the dental office is clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations. Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of general dentistry practices and procedures is essential. Familiarity with medical coding and medical imaging techniques is a plus. Proficient in using dental software such as Dentrix for patient management. Ability to perform tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Certification in dental assisting or relevant training is preferred but not mandatory.
