Our growing practice is looking to add a Part-Time responsible Dental Assistant who's interested in afternoons and Fridays (2 to 3 per month). Are you organized, self-motivated, full of energy and always looking to learn new things? We are looking FOR YOU! Responsibilities: Prepare patients for diagnosis and treatment Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures which will also include: orthodontics, implants & oral surgery (implant knowledge is required) Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment Take dental radiographs (x-rays)CBCT, digital radiographs and intra oral scanning Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment Provide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health Perform various office tasks as necessary Minimum Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent.
