In this role, you will assist chairside, support clinical flow, and help create an environment where patients feel calm, informed, and genuinely cared for. Duties Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of procedures including restorations, extractions, endodontic treatments, and biologically focused care. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies and materials are ready for each appointment. Take and process dental X-rays using digital imaging systems while adhering to strict safety and infection control protocols. Maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, ensuring full compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and helping patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit. Uphold infection control standards using proper sterilization, aseptic techniques, and attention to detail. Collaborate closely with the front office and clinical team to ensure smooth scheduling, communication, and patient flow. Assist with documentation, health history updates, and any relevant clinical notes. Contribute to a calm, organized, and welcoming clinical environment. Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in chairside assisting and strong understanding of dental terminology. Experience with dental software systems (Oryx preferred, but not required). Solid knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols. Ability to take high-quality digital X-rays. Strong communication skills with a patient-first mindset. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Interest in or openness to learning biological/holistic dentistry principles.
