Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during various procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry, ensuring efficient workflow and patient comfort Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, materials, and supplies, maintaining strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols Take and develop dental radiographs (X-ray), ensuring proper positioning and safety measures in accordance with HIPAA regulations Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, accurately documenting treatment details and medical history Educate patients on oral health care, post-treatment instructions, and preventive practices to promote lifelong dental wellness Monitor vital signs and assist with medical imaging or medical documentation as needed for patients with special health considerations Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and assisting the dental receptionist to ensure seamless clinic operations Qualifications Valid registration as a Dental Assistant with current licensure or certification in accordance with state requirements Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment, preferably with pediatric dentistry or general dentistry practices Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, X-ray procedures, and infection control standards Familiarity with EMR systems like Dentrix or Eaglesoft; experience with Epic or medical coding is a plus Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and aseptic techniques to ensure safe patient care Ability to perform vital signs assessment and operate 3D scanners or other advanced imaging equipment is desirable Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team Join our team to deliver compassionate dental care while advancing your professional skills!
