Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist (Friday & Saturdays) to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, performing dental cleanings, and assisting in various dental procedures. This role requires a strong commitment to patient education and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dental clinic environment. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations. Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth to maintain optimal oral health. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist dentists during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Utilize dental software systems such as Curve and Open Dental for patient management and record keeping. Manage medical imaging processes, including X-rays and other diagnostic tools. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment. Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care and streamline office operations. Skills Proficiency in dental assisting practices with a focus on four-handed dentistry. Strong knowledge of patient assessment techniques and oral health education. Familiarity with dental software systems such as Curve and Open Dental is highly desirable. Experience in dental coding related to dental procedures is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate patient records.
