Dental Hygienist - Upper West Side Dental Office - New York, NY

We are a well established multi-specialty family dental office on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. We are proud of our warm environment and exemplary care. FFS/OON. We are looking for a people-friendly dental hygienist to see our adult patients. Some of them have been coming to us for years, and we value the trust they have in us. We want our patients, hygienists, and doctors to feel at ease. We are not in the mindset of cramming patients into the schedule; no rushing. There will be only one column of patients, 50mins -1 hour appts. Responsibilities: - Provide gentle, thorough cleanings, SRP, perio maintenance - Take x-rays and set up/clean up rooms. Assisted hygiene also available depending on the day. - calling patients for recalls - computer-based charting, efficient documentation - working alongside the clinical and administrative teams to educate patients, promote appropriate case acceptance - schedule: 1-2 days a week, 9am-6pm with 1 hour lunch break; schedule to be determined based on mutual availability This is the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys getting to know their patients and creating long lasting relationships.
