Job Overview We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. Bilingual (Spanish/Portuguese) The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing quality oral healthcare to patients while ensuring a comfortable and efficient dental visit experience. *Duties* - Assist dentists during procedures in various specialties including Prosthodontics and General Dentistry - Perform Four Handed Dentistry techniques effectively - Take and record patients XRAY /dental impressions .Maintain strict infection control protocols in the dental office - MUST BE DANB CERTIFIED. Prior experience working in a dental clinic is a must . Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a sterile environment and efficient workflow. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for various dental procedures. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain accurate medical records and patient information using electronic health record systems. Monitor and record vital signs of patients before and during procedures. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions. Manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure proper sterilization protocols are followed. Provide support in administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries. Experience Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental practice. Familiarity with Endodontics procedures is preferred. Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental software systems for patient management. Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques to assist effectively during procedures. Knowledge of operating 3D scanners for imaging purposes is a plus. Ability to maintain organized medical records and manage patient information efficiently.
