Weâre currently looking for a Dental Assistant with at least one year of experience who takes pride in their work and sees themselves as a true dental professional. Someone who communicates well, is dependable, and enjoys being part of a collaborative, patient-focused environment will do well here. This is more than just filling a position for usâweâre looking for someone who wants to grow with our practice and be a valued part of our team long-term. What Weâre Looking For Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience Willingness to commute to both Margate and Lauderdale by the Sea (primarily Lauderdale by the Sea) A true team player with a positive, professional attitude Strong chairside manner with the ability to make patients feel comfortable and at ease Solid understanding of dental procedures and the ability to confidently explain treatments to patients Experience managing clinical inventory and maintaining an organized back office Excellent time management and the ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills especially the ability to step up and coordinate with the front office when challenges arise A patient focused mindset rooted in evidence-based dentistry, with the ability to take initiative in helping patients understand their care in a way that connects with them Experience with Expanded Functions, 3D scanners, and dental billing codes is a plus CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain) What Youâll Do Assist the dentist during procedures and exams to ensure smooth workflow Prepare, sterilize, and maintain instruments and equipment Take dental radiographs (X-rays) Accurately record patient vitals and medical histories Educate patients on oral health, treatment plans, and post-op care Help patients understand recommended treatments using clear, relatable communication Manage patient records using Open Dental Maintain a clean, compliant, and efficient clinical environment Oversee inventory and ordering of dental supplies Keep the back office running smoothly and efficiently What We Offer Competitive pay (based on experience) Paid time off, holidays, and sick pay Bonus and commission opportunities Employee dental care + friends & family discounts A supportive, professional, and compassionate team environment Real opportunities for growth within the practice If youâre someone who takes pride in what you do, communicates well under pressure, and genuinely loves helping patients feel comfortable and cared for weâd love to meet you.
