Dental Assistant – Pediatric Dentistry (No Weekends!) Panhandle Pediatric Dentistry – Panama City, FL $18–$24/hr | Full-Time | 33–38 hrs/week Panhandle Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a high‑accountability, fast‑paced Dental Assistant who can keep a clinical day running smoothly while creating a positive experience for children and families. This is not a passive role. Your ability to anticipate, adapt, and execute directly impacts patient care and provider efficiency. What You’ll Do Four‑handed dentistry chairside assisting Coronal polishing + oral hygiene instruction (per FL certification/training) Radiographs (certified or willing to train) Prepare, break down, and maintain operatories Support pediatric procedures and patient comfort Maintain strict sterilization & infection control Keep rooms stocked, organized, and ready Assist with lab cases, inventory, and quality control logs Communicate clearly with providers, team members, and parents What Makes This Role Different No weekends Pediatric environment requiring patience, composure, and adaptability Fast‑paced, high‑impact clinical flow Team‑driven culture Growth opportunities (radiography + EFDA training available) Schedule Mon–Thurs: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Fri: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM Lunch: 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM (Mon–Thurs) Early mornings for sedation days (1–2x/month) Occasional travel to nearby offices/surgical centers What You Bring Dental assisting experience (pediatric preferred) Radiography certification preferred (not required) EFDA preferred Strong clinical awareness and organization Ability to stay accurate in a fast‑moving environment Clear communication and team awareness Physical Requirements On your feet most of the day Moving between operatories Fine motor skills and manual dexterity Working in close proximity with patients/providers Benefits 401(k) + matching Medical, dental, vision Life insurance PTO Employee discount Apply Today If you take ownership, anticipate needs, and thrive in a busy clinical environment, we want to meet you.
