Pay: Up to $35.00 per hour Job description: JOB : Our orthodontic practice is hiring a full-time orthodontic assistant to join our team. Our practice is open Monday through Thursday. We have an amazing team and can offer flexible hours to our new team member. Our office is a fast-paced, patient-focused orthodontic practice committed to providing high-quality care in a welcoming and efficient environment. We treat patients of all ages and focus on creating a positive orthodontic experience while maintaining excellent clinical standards and teamwork. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Orthodontic Dental Assistant who is confident assisting during orthodontic procedures while maintaining strong patient care and smooth clinical flow. OFFICE LOCATION: West Linn SKILLS AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Assisting the orthodontist during procedures and adjusting appointments. Preparing patients for orthodontic treatment. Taking orthodontic records, including digital scans, photos, and impressions. Placing and removing orthodontic appliances such as archwires, brackets, and bands as permitted. Changing archwires and elastics. Providing patient instructions on oral hygiene, appliances, and orthodontic care. Setting up and breaking down operatories for procedures. Sterilizing and maintaining instruments and equipment. Maintaining accurate chart notes and clinical documentation. Ensuring efficient patient flow throughout the clinic. Maintaining OSHA and infection control standards. Providing excellent patient care and maintaining a positive, professional environment. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced orthodontic setting while interacting with patients and supporting the clinical team. SOFTWARE: Experience with dental practice management software and digital imaging systems preferred. SCHEDULE: Monday through Thursday: You can discuss your preferred hours in your interview with the Orthodontist. PAY: Wage is up to $35 an hour, depending on experience.
