Sterilization & Digital Dental Tech Fear Free Dental | Beaverton / Portland We’re looking for someone who likes things organized, enjoys working with technology, and takes pride in keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. This is not a traditional dental assistant role. You won’t be doing heavy chairside work. Instead, you’ll be the person who keeps our sterilization and digital workflow on track every day. What this job is really about Making sure instruments are always clean, ready, and in the right place Keeping the back-end flow of the practice running without chaos Working with 3D printers and digital cases (we’ll train you if needed) If you like structure, systems, and hands-on tasks — you’ll probably enjoy this. What you’ll do Sterilization & Room Flow Break down and reset rooms between patients Run sterilization and keep logs up to date Keep instruments organized and ready to go Maintain a clean, efficient sterilization area Digital / 3D Work Run 3D prints (models, nightguards, guides) Check print quality and basic troubleshooting Organize and track digital cases (scans, files, etc.) General Support Prep trays and operatories Help with stocking and organization Assist with simple digital tasks as needed You’ll do well here if you: Like things clean, organized, and predictable Are comfortable with computers and learning new tools Don’t need to be micromanaged Stay calm and steady, even on busy days Notice details that others miss This is NOT a fit if: You want to be a lead or primary chairside assistant You need constant direction You get bored with routine or structured work Pay & Details $25-$30/hour (depending on experience) Opportunity to grow into more digital / 3D responsibilities Supportive, low-drama team About Fear Free Dental We focus on making dental visits easier for patients — especially those who are anxious.
