Duties Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental instruments, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly following infection control protocols. Assist dentists during dental procedures. Manage patient records accurately while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Monitor vital signs and medical history documentation to support comprehensive patient assessments. Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, greeting patients as a dental receptionist, verifying insurance information, and updating medical documentation. Maintain a sterile environment using aseptic techniques, proper disposal of contaminated materials, and adhering to infection control standards across all clinical activities. Experience Previous experience working in a dental clinic setting is preferred. Proficiency with dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical coding enhances your ability to support diverse treatment plans. Hands-on experience with dental assisting duties is essential. Understanding of infection control practices, anatomy knowledge related to oral structures, and aseptic techniques ensures safe patient care. Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour Work Location: In person
