Duties Perform a wide range of dental procedures including general dentistry, dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging using medical imaging tools. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment compliant with HIPAA regulations. Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate treatment plans clearly to patients and team members. Document all patient interactions accurately in medical records, ensuring compliance with medical documentation standards. Collaborate with the dental team in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Manage patient care from initial consultation through treatment completion, ensuring excellent customer service and patient satisfaction. Experience Proven experience in general dentistry with a strong background in pediatric dentistry and pediatrics preferred. Familiarity with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar platforms is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to perform dental fabrication procedures and handle complex cases involving prosthodontics or endodontics. Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, infection control procedures, and HIPAA compliance is essential. Prior experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic environment with proficiency in medical records management. Strong understanding of dental terminology, medical imaging techniques, and infection prevention protocols. Experience in providing patient care that emphasizes comfort, education, and personalized treatment planning.
