Job Overview Our office is looking for a highly motivated expanded duties dental assistant to join our team! Job requirements include assisting the dentists chairside in all aspects of general dentistry, particularly placing restorations and making temporary crowns, as well as minor lab work when necessary. We are a multi-doctor practice looking for an energetic and experienced assistant to be a part of our office! Responsibilities Assist dentists with simple and complex procedures involving all aspects of general dentistry Operate dental imaging equipment such as X-ray machines and 3D scanners to capture high-quality images necessary for diagnosis and treatment planning. Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to uphold the highest standards of safety and hygiene in the clinic. Assist with chairside procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency and reduce patient discomfort. Qualifications Proven experience as a dental assistant with a focus on expanded duties in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry settings. Skilled in X-ray operation, vital signs measurement, infection control practices, and aseptic technique. Ability to perform dental assisting duties including chairside support during complex procedures like endodontics or prosthodontics. Experience with 3D scanners or other advanced dental technology is a plus. Excellent communication skills Certification in radiography or other relevant certifications is highly desirable.
