Duties Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, supplies, and sterilized equipment, adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols Assist dentists during procedures such as restorations, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry with precision and professionalism Take high-quality dental X-rays and operate imaging equipment including 3D scanners to support accurate diagnoses Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Dentrix or Epic, ensuring accurate medical documentation and coding in compliance with HIPAA regulations Monitor vital signs and medical history of patients, especially pediatric patients, to ensure safety during treatments Provide chairside assistance with four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize workflow and patient comfort Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing dental receptionist duties, and maintaining organized medical records Experience Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with familiarity in general dentistry procedures Proficiency with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for scheduling, billing, and record management Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dental care Hands-on experience with X-ray procedures, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques Ability to perform dental assisting duties confidently in pediatric dentistry settings and handle diverse patient needs Familiarity with medical imaging tools including 3D scanners and digital radiography equipment Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards for safeguarding patient information Join us to make a difference in patientsâ lives by providing compassionate, efficient dental care!
