Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, assessing patient oral health, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices. Responsibilities Conduct thorough dental cleanings and periodontal assessments for patients. Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical records. Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure seamless patient care within the clinic. Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies. Provide support in pediatric dentistry as needed, ensuring a positive experience for younger patients. Requirements Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Experience in general dentistry and dental assisting is preferred. Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and medical coding systems is advantageous. Familiarity with maintaining medical records and adhering to HIPAA standards. Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients about oral health. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while providing exceptional patient care. Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is highly desirable.
