Primary Job Duties Include: Assist with Dental treatments as instructed Follow office policies and systems Take and record dental histories and patient records Prepare instruments; clean treatment areas; sterilize equipment, manage supplies Responsible for patient flow, keeping treatment rooms neat and organized in a timely manner Instruct patients in oral hygiene, in bleaching protocols, etc Front Office Support, including greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling, maintaining files, as needed Being Accountable and Reliable Ideal Candidate: Have at least 5 years experience as a dental assistant A person that still has the desire to develop and excel as a dental assistant Must be personable and like to work with people Ability to project a positive, warm and professional image in person and on the phone Strong Organizational skills – you see what needs to be done and do it. Must be articulate and service-oriented Ability to multi-task, take initiative and anticipate needs of others Reliable, accountable and prompt; available for at least 35 hours per week Works well in a team, with humor, enthusiasm and joyful consideration of others.
