This role involves direct patient interaction, chairside assistance, and administrative support within an orthodontic practice. Key Responsibilities: Assist the orthodontist during examinations, adjustments, and orthodontic procedures Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with infection control protocols Take digital X-rays, photographs, and impressions as needed Place and remove orthodontic appliances, including brackets, bands, wires, and retainers, as directed Provide patient education on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment instructions Chart patient records accurately and update treatment notes Maintain inventory and ensure clinical areas are clean, stocked, and organized Schedule appointments and assist with patient flow as needed Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and office policies Work Environment: Clinical dental/orthodontic office setting Requires standing for extended periods and assisting chairside Interaction with patients of all ages Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 22.0 – 24.0 per week Benefits: Employee discount Work Location: In person
