Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Dayton, OH
Job Title: Dental Assistant Location: 6800 N Dixie Dr, Dayton Ohio 45414 Schedule: Monday â Thursday 9am - 5pm Some Fridays Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team in North Dayton. This role involves working closely with multiple doctors to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is organized, patient-focused, and comfortable multitasking. Key Responsibilities: Assist dentists chairside during a variety of procedures Prepare and maintain treatment rooms before and after patient visits Take and process dental X-rays in compliance with safety standards Sterilize instruments and maintain proper infection control protocols Update and maintain accurate patient records using dental software Provide patients with pre- and post-operative instructions Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns during procedures Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment Support front office tasks as needed (scheduling, charting, etc.) Required Skills & Qualifications: Previous dental assisting experience preferred Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures Experience with dental software systems X-ray certification (as required by Ohio regulations) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently with multiple providers Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe work environment Work Environment: Collaborative team setting with multiple doctors Fast-paced dental office focused on quality patient care Opportunity to grow skills across a wide range of procedures How to Apply:Please submit your resume and any relevant certifications.
