Come join our work family! Bruce Family Dental in Pendleton, SC is seeking a part-time expanded duty dental assistant to help in patient care. We are a non-corporate, two-doctor, family owned general practice that has been serving Pendleton and the surrounding areas for over 48 years. Candidates must be detail oriented, willing to work hard, and work well with others. Position responsibilities include: Chairside Assistance: Assisting dentists during exams and procedures (including restorative, endodontics, oral surgery, pediatrics, and oral conscious sedation monitoring). Patient Care: Preparing patients for treatment, taking medical histories, and instructing on oral health. Infection Control: Sterilizing, cleaning, and disinfecting instruments and exam rooms. Imaging: Exposing and developing dental radiographs (X-rays). Laboratory Tasks: Making impressions/digital scans and preparing materials for models. -Experience in Eaglesoft is helpful but not required. Competitive pay based on experience levels. The position is part time (between 16-24 hours/week) and our office hours are M-W 8-5, TH 8-3, and F 8-1.
