Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our busy dental office team. This vital role serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment while efficiently managing administrative tasks. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression Manage patient check-in and check-out processes with accuracy and efficiency Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance verification using systems like OPEN DENTAL VYNE TRELLIS Schedule appointments using dental office management software and coordinate patient flow throughout the day Answer multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately Maintain accurate medical and dental records, including documentation review and filing of patient charts Collect payments, process DENTAL collections, and handle billing procedures in compliance with HIPAA regulations Qualifications Prior experience in a dental office setting is highly preferred; clinic experience is a plus Strong knowledge of dental terminology, \ ICD coding, and health information management practices Proficiency with OPEN DENTAL Familiarity with insurance verification processes including Medicare and Medicaid requirements Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly in accordance with HIPAA standards Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and familiarity with multi-line phone systems Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in documentation review and medical billing tasks Join our team where your enthusiasm fuels exceptional patient care!
