Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Kent, WA

Join the team at Kent Dental Arts. We are searching for a Dental Assistant to fill the shoes of our RDA who will be starting dental hygiene school later this year. About the Practice. The practice was initially established by Michael Campbell DDS in 1987. Dr. Adam Szajman purchased the practice in July of 2022 after serving the community of Burien for 5 years. Dr. Szajman is passionate about dentistry and using new technologies to provide high quality care for our patients. We have a healthy long-term patient base and are looking to slowly continue to grow our office. The position is Full-Time, 36 hours per week. Patient Hours are Monday through Wednesday 8am-5pm, Thursday 7am-4pm. Morning huddle is 15mins prior to first patient. Daily Clinic Personnel: 1 doctor, 2 assistants, 1-3 hygienists, 2 front office. Being able to work as part of a team 2. Greeting patients, identifying any concerns a patient has, obtaining vital signs and reviewing/updating patientâs health history. 3. Chairside assisting dental providers with exam, perio charting as well as assisting in 4-handed-dentistry for numerous restorative and surgical procedures. 4. Competently obtaining digital radiographs and intraoral photos to assist in diagnostics and patient care. 5. Set up operatories for procedures as well as cleaning and sterilizing operatories and used dental instruments following OSHA/WISHA/ADA guidelines. 6. Taking impressions (conventional and digital/scanning) and fabricating whitening trays/clear retainers 7. Working with dental providers and front office/reception to ensure timely and orderly patient flow through the clinic 8.
