About Our Practice We are a small, family-oriented general dental practice committed to providing exceptional patient care in a warm, welcoming environment. Our office offers a wide range of services from simple fillings to complex procedures, including oral surgery. We are seeking a patient-focused, detail-oriented Dental Assistant who is comfortable assisting with both routine and advanced procedures while maintaining full compliance with Washington State Department of Health regulations. In addition to comprehensive general dentistry, Dr. Bowyer specializes in: Cosmetic Dentistry Family Dentistry Dental Implants Dentures & Implant-Supported Dentures Invisalign® Zoom Teeth Whitening Required Qualifications Eligible for or currently registered as a Dental Assistant (RDA) with the Washington State Department of Health Current CPR certification Completion of Washington State HIV/AIDS education Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols Ability to pass a background check Strong communication and teamwork skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with Dentrix practice management software Experience with Dexis digital imaging Familiarity with CT/CBCT scanning 2+ years of clinical dental assisting experience Key Responsibilities Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms Take dental radiographs and assist with CT/CBCT scans as permitted under WA law Enter and manage patient information using Dentrix Capture and manage digital images using Dexis Maintain accurate patient records Educate and support patients before and after treatment Follow OSHA and Washington State safety standards Schedule Monday–Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM Thursday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM Friday–Sunday: Closed Enjoy a long weekend every week!
