Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Part-Time Endodontist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in endodontic procedures, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining high standards of clinical excellence. This role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively within a comprehensive dental practice, emphasizing precision, infection control, and patient satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform root canal therapy and other endodontic treatments with attention to detail and adherence to aseptic techniques. Assess patient needs through thorough examinations and medical/dental history reviews, utilizing medical imaging and dental terminology accurately. Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Maintain accurate medical records and document procedures in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to promote a safe treatment environment. Use dental fabrication techniques when necessary for post-treatment restorations or prosthodontic support. Provide patient education regarding endodontic procedures, post-treatment care, and oral health maintenance. Skills Proficiency in endodontics, including root canal therapy and related procedures. Experience with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control practices. Ability to perform dental extractions and oral surgery as needed within scope of practice. Skilled in four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency during procedures. Familiarity with medical imaging technology for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient conditions effectively while demonstrating professionalism and empathy.
