Responsibilities Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations, medical history reviews, and oral health evaluations. Provide a wide range of general dentistry services such as fillings, crowns, bridges, prosthodontics, root canal therapy, and dental extractions. Utilize advanced dental technology and imaging tools to diagnose conditions accurately and develop effective treatment plans. Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment. Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry procedures to optimize patient comfort and treatment efficiency. Maintain detailed medical documentation and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term dental wellness. Requirements Valid dental license to practice as a General Dentist in the respective region or country. Proven experience in general dentistry within a clinical or dental office setting; experience with dental clinic operations is preferred. Proficiency with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for charting and medical records management. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and infection control procedures. Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical imaging techniques. Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal treatments, and other restorative procedures confidently. Excellent patient care skills with a focus on patient assessment and effective communication. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards for protecting patient information.
