Dental Sterilization Technician - Dental Care Alliance - Chandler, AZ

Overview: Lakeview Dental Center , located in Chandler, AZ, is seeking a dedicated Dental Sterilization Technician / Dental Hygiene Assistant (X-ray Certified Preferred) to join our team. Responsibilities: Perform duties of both a Dental Sterilization Technician and Dental Assistant Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory and operatories Properly disinfect and sterilize all instruments Prepare and set up instrument trays (mirror, explorer, syringe, gauze, etc.) Sterilize handpieces and clean air/water syringes Monitor and restock operatory supplies Pour and trim dental models Assist with patient seating and treatment room setup Take and develop dental X-rays (FMX, BWX) Ensure cases are ready for pickup Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Ability to perform both sterilization and dental assistant duties Experience taking dental X-rays (FMX and BWX) required Knowledge of dental office practices and equipment Up to 1 year of dental office experience OR related classroom training (biology, chemistry, health, or dental assisting coursework) Experience with room turnover and instrument sterilization preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols Ability to work effectively with team members and the public We offer opportunities that promote professional, personal, and financial growth.
